Brex cards for AI agents

Watch the Brex cards you give AI agents. Every posted transaction is matched to what the agent said it was doing, and the card can be locked from the alert.

Veqen reads your Brex cards and their posted transactions (purchases, refunds and chargebacks) every five minutes, and matches each one to the action the agent recorded with Veqen. Brex lists a transaction once it posts, so it shows up later than on platforms that report authorizations. Agent spend explains the rules.

Connect it

1. Create a user token at dashboard.brex.com › Developer with only the cards.readonly and transactions.card.readonly scopes.
2. Paste it under Settings › Cards and accounts › Brex, or send it with PUT /v1/agent-spend/platforms/brex.
3. Name each agent's card ("agent: procurement-bot") or put the agent in its metadata, or assign it under Agent spend › Cards.

To lock cards and set their monthly limit from Veqen, add a second user token with the cards scope as freeze access. Brex sets a monthly limit only on cards with their own limit, not on cards that follow a user's.
