Work and coding agents

What everyone's work and coding agents cost, and the limits to keep it sane

ChatGPT, Claude, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Devin and every other agent your people use, per person and team, at the rates you actually pay. Limits hold inside the tools that take them, you hear as soon as a tool reports someone spending far past their usual, and the seats nobody touches are listed for you to cancel.

$10 per active person a month, free up to 3 people, with a 14-day Team trial that needs no card.

Worth a look Four more seats had no activity this month, and they cost $76 a month.

The month is illustrative, and each engineer is named by the email their tools know them by.

Why it's hard today

Each tool bills on its own, so nobody sees the whole

Each tool shows its own dashboard at list price, and team budgets sit behind each vendor's enterprise plan. Nobody sees one number per person, so a stolen token looks like someone having a busy week, and a seat nobody uses renews every month.

What you get

One bill per person, and the controls to go with it

One bill per person and team

Every tool's usage is matched to the person behind it, whatever name the tool knows them by, and priced at your contract: seats, credits, ACUs, discounts and the usage seats include. Teams come from your directory or an HR export, and someone who moves mid-month is split by the days they spent in each.

Limits that hold inside each tool

Set a monthly limit for each person or team once. Veqen sends it into Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin and Augment Code, which stop them at it, and alerts at 50, 80 and 100 percent of their total across every tool.

Misuse caught as soon as it's reported

On Team, when someone's day runs five times past their usual one, which is how a stolen seat, a leaked token or an agent left looping shows up, owners, security and their manager hear about it as soon as the tool reports the day. Agents that run on your own provider keys, like OpenCode, Aider or Cline, get the same hourly stolen-key protection as your product's keys, with shut-off in one click.

Needs actionToday, 14:20

m.reyes spent $612.40 on work and coding agents today. Their usual day is $48.10. If it wasn't them, shut off the key or seat.

Every invoice checked, and the seats nobody uses

Enter each tool's invoice and Veqen checks it against your contract and the seats people actually used. Seats with no activity in 30 days, and seats still held by people who left, are listed with what they cost.

Supported tools

Every work and coding agent your people use

Cost and usage, never prompts or code

Veqen reads what each tool's admin API reports: cost, credits, requests and tokens per person and day. It never reads prompts, code or responses.

Managers see their own team
Owners, admins, finance and security see everyone. A team's manager sees that team, and everyone else sees only their own cost.
Names only when you want them
Claude Code's and Cowork's telemetry is kept under an account id unless you turn on email names, so a works council can sign off.
Kept as long as your plan keeps calls
Disconnecting a tool deletes the usage and seats its API reported.

Frequently asked questions

Which work and coding agents does Veqen read?

Claude Code, Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Gemini in Google Workspace, Codex, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Windsurf, Devin, Factory, Augment Code, Warp and Ona by API, with a read-only admin key each. Kiro, Amazon Q Developer, Amp, Gemini Code Assist, JetBrains AI, Tabnine, GitLab Duo, Sourcegraph Cody and Replit Agent from the CSV each one exports. And agents that run on your own provider keys, such as OpenCode, Aider, Cline, Continue, Kilo Code, Roo Code, Zed, Goose and Crush, from those keys.

How is an active person counted?

Anyone who used a connected work or coding agent during the billing period. Someone who holds a seat but never used it isn't counted, and shows up under Seats as money you could save.

Do limits stop someone, or only alert?

In Claude, ChatGPT Enterprise, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Devin and Augment Code, Veqen sends each person's monthly limit into the tool, which stops them at it. Other tools don't take limits by API, so Veqen alerts at 50, 80 and 100 percent of the person's total across every tool and says where to set the limit in that tool.

Does Veqen see our code or prompts?

No. It reads cost, credits, requests and token counts per person and day, from each tool's admin API or an export you upload. Claude Code's telemetry sends usage only, and Veqen keeps it under Claude Code's account id unless you turn on names by email.

Can a manager see only their own team?

Yes. Owners, admins, finance and security members see everyone. Anyone an owner or admin names as a team's manager sees that team and hears when one of them spends far above their usual day, and everyone else sees only their own cost.

How does the 14-day Team trial work?

Every organization gets one, at any size and with no card. It starts when you connect your first agent. If it ends without a subscription, work and coding agents moves to Free, which shows each person's cost for up to 3 people. Nothing is deleted at once, though Free keeps 30 days of history, and limits already in your tools stay there.
