Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-10-22

These terms are an agreement between you (or the organization you represent) and Keyveve, Inc. ("we", "us"), which operates Veqen (the "Service"). By signing in, using an API key, or connecting an application to the Service, you agree to them. The open-source SDKs and CLI are licensed separately under the MIT license.

1. The Service

Veqen records metadata about AI model calls, prices it, and provides reports, budgets, reconciliation, margin, credit tracking and accounting exports through a website, an API and Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers.

Prices come from public provider pricing and our own rules. Costs, forecasts, reconciliations and journal entries are estimates and working papers, not accounting, tax or financial advice. Your provider's invoice is authoritative, and you're responsible for the entries you post to your books.

Budgets in block mode depend on your software running our SDK and on timely data; they reduce risk but can't guarantee spend never exceeds a limit.

2. Accounts and organizations

  • You must be at least 18 and able to enter a contract.
  • Organization owners and admins control membership and roles, and are responsible for activity under the organization's keys.
  • Each person may own one free organization. Creating organizations to avoid plan limits isn't allowed.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to the Acceptable Use Policy. Don't send prompts, responses or sensitive personal data in tags or other fields.

4. Plans, payment and changes

  • Plans and rates are shown on the pricing page. Paid plans renew monthly and are charged through Stripe: the plan price in advance, and tracked calls above the included amount in arrears. Applicable taxes are shown at checkout and are additional unless stated otherwise.
  • A checkout identified as sold through Link uses Link as merchant of record. Link's purchase terms and refund policy also apply to those purchases. Keyveve, Inc. remains responsible for providing the Service and product support.
  • You can cancel at any time from Billing; the plan runs to the end of the paid period. We don't refund partial months, except where the law or the applicable merchant-of-record refund policy requires. Link may issue refunds under its refund policy.
  • We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email; changes apply from your next billing period.
  • If a payment fails, we may move the organization to the Free plan after notice.

5. Your data

You keep all rights to the data you send. We process it only to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy. You're responsible for having the right to send us the data you send, including any personal data in tags. Our Data Processing Addendum is available on request.

6. Connected accounts

When you connect an OpenAI, Anthropic or Stripe account, you authorize us to use the key you provide to read cost or invoice data for that account. We don't use these keys for anything else.

7. Availability and changes

We aim for high availability but don't guarantee it outside an Enterprise agreement. We may change or discontinue features; for material changes to these terms we'll give at least 30 days' notice.

8. Suspension and termination

Owners can delete their organization in Settings at any time once any paid subscription is cancelled. We may suspend or close organizations that break these terms, that put the Service at risk, or that we're required to close by law.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". Prices come from providers' published rates and your custom prices and may differ from what a provider bills; reconciliation shows the difference. Answers from the optional AI analyst and drafts from the AI assistant are written by a language model and can be wrong; check them against the figures shown before relying on them. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

11. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. These terms are the entire agreement between us about the Service, unless you have a signed Enterprise agreement, which takes precedence.
